Guided Tour Experience
Our expert tour guides encourage critical thinking skills with thematic tours of the collection. Tours are conducted in small groups and range from 30 to 60 minutes depending on student ages. For younger audiences, tours focus on analyzing the evolving design of a vehicle’s exterior body and making comparisons with modern cars. Older students will enjoy learning how automotive technology has advanced over time to make cars faster, safer, and more fuel efficient. Students will be get to compare gas, electric, and even steam engines up close! Contact the Canadian Automotive Museum and we will be glad to arrange a special tour for any age level or subject.
An optional "car-tooning" activity is available as part of your tour of the Canadian Automotive Museum. Students will review how car designs have evolved over time before using their imagination to draw a customized car of their own.
