The Canadian Automotive Museum has sixty paid parking spots available onsite in downtown Oshawa. Rates are available for Hourly, Daily, and Monthly parking. Parking revenue goes to the ongoing operation and maintenance of the Canadian Automotive Museum. City of Oshawa bylaw enforcement regularly monitors the lots and unpaid vehicles may be ticketed or towed at any time. Complimentary parking is available for museum visitors every day.
Monthly paid parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Canadian Automotive Museum at 99 Simcoe St. South in downtown Oshawa. The parking lot is a short walk from Oshawa City Hall, the Michael Starr Building, CIBC, Memorial Park, Oshawa's downtown restaurants, the Oshawa BIA, UOIT's downtown Oshawa campus, and the GM Centre. Numbered parking spaces are reserved during business hours Monday-Friday. Monthly reserved parking spaces can purchased in the museum office. Monthly parking at the rear of the museum, in the unpaved lot, can be purchased through Honk Mobile. These spaces are unmarked and are available first-come, first-serve.
Daily & Hourly Parking
Daily parking is available in the gravel lot behind the Canadian Automotive Museum in the lot adjacent to Bruce and Celina Streets. Payments can be made in the museum's office and through the Honk Moble app or website, with the museum lot listed as Zone 9058.

Honk Mobile App
The Canadian Automotive Museum has partnered with Honk Mobile to accept online payments. Honk Mobile is the official parking app of the City of Oshawa and rates match those of city parking meters.

How does parking enforcement know I’ve paid for parking?
Each parking transaction is registered with your licence plate. Parking Services enforcement officers have a real-time list of compliant plates. You do not need to display anything in your vehicle.
What methods of payment are available?
Most customers use a credit card, but Honk also accepts PayPal, VISA debit, ApplePay and Masterpass digital wallet. Cash and credit cards will still be accepted at parking meters.
I need proof of payment for my parking. How do I get a receipt?
Once you’ve paid for parking, Honk will email you a receipt. You can also view all your transactions by visiting the Receipts page in your profile.
What happens if I get a ticket but I have paid through Honk?
However infrequently, mistakes happen. Please ensure that the license plate entered in the app matches the one on the infraction. If you still believe that you have received a ticket in error, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
