This Oshawa-built Chevrolet 490 dates from 1915, the first year Chevrolets were built in Oshawa by the McLaughlin Buick Company. the 490 represents the cheap price of the car. The Chevrolet 490 Touring, featured a 3-speed transmission and 4-cylinder engine, was stylish yet affordable.
