Our 1905 McLaughlin Carriage is a fine example of the ‘highwheeler’ carriage In 1898, the McLaughlin Carriage Company was producing twenty five thousand carriages a year, but a year later their Oshawa-based factory was completely destroyed by fire. Come into the Canadian Automotive Museum today to learn how this carriage went on to become one of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers. This buggy is currently on loan to the Remington Carriage Museum.
